Habitat will begin conducting home preservation projects near our National City new construction site beginning this spring. Home preservation projects are meant to give homeowners a renewed sense of pride in their home and the ability to enjoy it in dignity and safety for years to come.
Our preservation repair services are focused in locations surrounding new Habitat home construction sites, and can include exterior paint, handrail and walkway improvements, fence repair or replacement, and drought-tolerant landscaping.
To qualify you must own and occupy your house, show a need for improvements, meet area median income guidelines, and have a willingness to partner with Habitat. We are currently accepting applications from homeowners in National City who live between the blocks of:
- W. 14th street and W. 19th street, and
- Wilson Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue
