A seasoned, bilingual communications strategist, Devonna brings more than two decades of experience working at the intersection of community and public policy and most recently served as the Director of Communications and Binational Affairs for the Chairwoman of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors. In her new role as Director of Communications here at Habitat, Devonna is looking forward to making a positive, meaningful impact in the lives of working families across San Diego County, where she has called home for the past 24 years.
Grace, our new Housing and Community Services Coordinator, credits participating in a Habitat build in middle school with fostering her passion for volunteerism. In 2022, she earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology with a concentration in social services from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, and during college, gained hands-on experience interning with the American Red Cross of the Pacific Coast. Having spent her college years at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Grace is particularly excited to interface with our community.
