Mark your calendar for San Diego Habitat’s first-ever Taste of Home, coming on Sunday, April 16 at 5:30pm. This new and unique event will be held on our construction site at El Norte Parkway in Escondido, and will feature mouthwatering food and drinks from chefs and restaurants around the county as they share their favorite dishes that remind them of home.
Not only will you have a chance to savor the flavors of masterful local chefs and bakers, you will also have a chance to hear from our newest Habitat homeowners as we fill these homes with good wishes by signing the exposed walls and beams on site.
Tickets cost $100 and support the building of the ten homes in this community. You can also support our homebuilding efforts by participating in a fun opportunity drawing, and learning about all the ways that San Diego Habitat works within our region.
