What do you build on for? The past year has brought unique challenges for each of us, but the pandemic has been a stark reminder that the housing crisis is far from over. This year’s event, Women Build On, is a celebration of resilience in our community, as well as a recognition of the fact that our work is not complete.
We are thrilled to announce that Cox is back as our presenting sponsor for the third year in a row and this marks their eighth year participating in Women Build — not to mention their NINTH year as a Habitat partner! Cox’s generosity and dedication to creating affordable homeownership opportunities in San Diego is inspiring and we’re proud to have their ongoing support.
Women Build On will be different in some ways than in past years, but one thing has not changed — we continue to empower women to create change in our community by increasing access to safe, healthy, affordable housing for all our neighbors. We are offering Women Build On opportunities designed to allow you to join us in the way feels safest to you:
- Limited in-person, on-site building
- An exciting new Adventure Race around San Diego County with your “quaran-team”
- Virtual “building” from home
As in previous years, all participants will have the opportunity to fundraise for San Diego Habitat and compete for exciting prizes. Whichever path you choose, make sure to save the date for our Virtual Kickoff Event on Thursday, April 29, 2021!
