San Diego Habitat’s 2013 Women Build event, sponsored by Lowe’s, was a huge success! From May 7 – 11, women from across San Diego County came together to make a difference in our community by donating their time, talent, and treasure in support of Habitat’s mission of building homes, communities, and hope. They worked on Habitat’s latest rehab project on Enero Court in Otay Mesa, which will be sold to a low-income family upon completion. To make the Women Build home construction possible, in addition to spending at least one day on the jobsite, participants made a sponsorship donation of $100.
