Your new or gently-used household goods and building supplies can help Habitat for Humanity partner with local families to build and repair homes. But what kind of items does the ReStore accept? We gladly accept:

- Building materials
- Bathroom + plumbing items
- Doors + windows
- Flooring + tile
- Home decor + furniture
- Hardware
- Tools
- Cabinets
- Home exterior/lawn + garden items
- Electrical items
- Lighting + fans
As a general rule, we can resell items that are functioning, complete, and in good condition. Ask yourself if you would purchase it. If the answer is yes, chances are someone else will!
You can request a pickup of your donation online, or you can drop it off at any of our four countywide locations. We recommend getting in touch at dispatch@sandiegohabitat.org or (619) 241-2221 before bringing something in, just to make sure we don’t have any inventory or space limitations at the time.
