On Election Day, California voters passed Propositions 1 and 2, approving a combined total of $6 billion in funding that will address statewide housing concerns. Proposition 1 tackles affordable housing for veterans, working families, seniors, people with disabilities, and Californians experiencing homelessness from California’s severe housing crisis. Proposition 2 will provide permanent supportive housing linked to treatment and services to help people with serious mental illness who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.
Your vote counted. Thank you to the supporters and voters who came together to support Props 1 and 2. With your help, San Diego Habitat has more tools to assist families and veterans. We couldn’t have done it without you! Would you like to make your voice heard when it comes to housing issues both in San Diego County and across the state of California?
