Are you interested in putting your construction skills to use? Looking for an opportunity to teach others? You’re in luck!
Our playhouse team is seeking energetic volunteers to join us in building playhouses for local children, military and veteran families, and children’s centers in San Diego. As a volunteer, you’ll work alongside Habitat team members, helping to lead groups in assembling and painting these special playhouses. No prior experience is needed — we’ll provide all the training you need!
- Minimum age: 18 (due to the use of power tools)
- Commitment: At least one event per month
- Event duration: Approximately 4 hours
- Team size: 8-10 volunteers per event
These charming, volunteer-built playhouses offer children a magical space for imaginative play that fosters their development, leadership, and creativity.
