We’re eagerly watching our newest affordable housing community take shape in Escondido, which will soon make homeownership a reality for ten local families.
Lumber officially dropped earlier this summer, and with the roof frames going up and subfloors being installed, we’re now well into the framing phase. Bath surrounds, sliding glass doors, and windows were delivered to the site several weeks ago, and installation is underway, thanks to assistance from many helping hands, including future Habitat homeowners.
This ambitious project, which broke ground in May 2022, is now nearing a pivotal juncture, with each beam raised symbolizing a step towards a more equitable future.
