Bringing together over 170 volunteers, our 16th annual event raised more than $104,000 to support our ongoing homebuilding and preservation efforts — wow! Let’s hear it for our incredible Women Builders, a true testament to the power of community collaboration.
Over the course of four days, builders worked to restore a Logan Heights home that suffered flood damage during January’s rainstorms, focusing on critical exterior repairs like replacing fencing and implementing flood-resistant landscaping. Eleven teams participated in our first-ever playhouse build competition, with each creation to be donated to local families and nonprofit partners serving children and families in need, such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and The Chicano Federation.
