Last month, we proudly welcomed 10 families into their new homes in Escondido. As a heartfelt gesture, Girl Scout Troop 1109 from Oceanside, CA, assembled housewarming baskets filled with essential cleaning products, extending a warm welcome to their new North County neighbors. Beyond bringing joy, this act also provided our staff an opportunity to educate the scouts about our mission and the vital role of affordable housing in building stronger communities.
