Construction Update

Spring is in the air, and we are busy building! In Encinitas, we are on the home stretch at Leucadia II! Finishing touches to the exterior and interior of both homes are happening now. Cabinets and appliances are being installed and landscaping will start soon. Both homes will be completed in the next couple of months.

Harding II in National City is moving right along, with framing of all six units nearly complete. Trusses will be rolled in the next couple of weeks, followed by roofing and windows in mid-April. If you are joining us on the site for Women Build, you can get a first-hand look then!

Final Mapping and entitlements are almost complete for our newest project in Escondido. Click here to learn more about this community. We are lining up site work trades and anticipate pulling a grading permit once plans are approved by the City.

While we are not yet allowing volunteers on our construction sites, we are monitoring COVID and vaccination numbers in San Diego County, and are hoping we can welcome you back soon. Volunteers make our mission possible and we can’t wait to build with you again.
