A big thank you to Kiwanis Club of San Diego for generously sponsoring the materials for 57 playhouses this year. Their support will provide a hands-on team building experience for volunteers, create community connection through our STEM Playhouse program, and give back to San Diego County through playhouse donations to families.
Small in size but mighty to our mission, playhouses are built with love by local volunteers. After being assembled and decorated, playhouses are gifted to families, nonprofits, children’s centers in the San Diego community, or the Habitat ReStores, providing a secret world where kids can foster their development, leadership, and creativity.
