San Diego Habitat was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from Harrah’s Resort Southern California All-in 4 Change program to fund veteran home repair services across San Diego County. We were selected as a grant recipient among fifteen other nonprofit organizations in San Diego, Riverside, and Orange counties.
Our VetRepair program offers home repair services to existing veteran homeowners in an effort to improve their quality of life, giving them the resources they need to maintain their homes and to age in place. The funding provided by the Harrah’s award will focus on critical health and safety issues in homes owned by low-income veterans, creating better home environments.
